supporting data for " Accessing the immature brain--explore electrophysiological markers for brain maturity and the risk of neurodevelopmental disorders in preterm born children"
This is the supporting data for my MPhil thesis entitled " Accessing the immature brain--explore electrophysiological markers for brain maturity and the risk of neurodevelopmental disorders in preterm born children"
This study investigated the correlation between resting-state EEG profile and cognitive/behaviour performance in preschool children (including children born preterm and at term). All EEG and behavioural/questionnaire data are collecetd in Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital Child Assessment Centre (DKCAC) and Queen Marry Hospital (QM). In this dataset , behavioural/cognitive test scores, as well as questionnaire responses of the participated chilren are provided. Both raw EEG recordings and processed EEG data are also provided. For the processed EEG data, both aperiodic component (offset and expotent) and traditional band power (absolute and relative) are provided.
IRB approval code UW 20-455.
Directory of Files:
A. Filename: Preterm_EEG_database
Short description: raw questionaire data
B. Filename: EEG_prem_analysis
Short description:Combined dataset with EEG parameters and averaged questionaire data
C. Filename: EEG_data
Short description:raw EEG data for generating the EEG parameters, MATLAB (2012 or above) and EEGLAB package is required to process those raw data.
The MATLAB processing code is also in the file; while again MATLAB EEGLAB is required to run this script.
File C 'EEG_data' is for EEG experts to examine the raw EEG data; for processed EEG data, please refer to file B 'EEG_prem_analysis'.
