Supporting data for “Design for excellence (DfX) for high-rise modular buildings: A knowledge management-based framework from conception to completion”

This dataset is a collection of modular key plans, submitted by project developers, manufacturers, contractors, and designers, and pre-approved by the Buildings Department (BD) of the Hong Kong Government in 2018-2021. There are 39 design submissions included in the collection, featuring projects from various locations in Hong Kong. They were obtained from the BD with the aim of promoting modular building adoption in Hong Kong and supporting further research and development. The plans include building information, including project key stakeholders, structural typologies, spatial arrangements, and dimensions.
