This video briefly shares a number of potential methods and practical tips on finding relevant support resources for accessibility practices or solutions to remedy inaccessible virtual teaching and learning. This brief introduction aims to help you select the appropriate methods that match your needs and situations. The following methods and tips are covered:

  • User experience sharing
  • Internet search
  • University’s internal resources (i.e., covering University website’s search engine; advice from other university units; University events which promote accessibility awareness; and mass mails)
  • Self-learning databases and training courses
  • Actual testing
  • Local community resources

This video is one in the #IDEALeaders Self-Learning Series on the Co-Creation of Virtual Learning Accessibility. It is one of the deliverables of the Project entitled “Promoting accessibility of virtual teaching and learning through a train-the-trainer approach” funded by the UGC Special Grant for Strategic Development of Virtual Teaching and Learning in 2021-2023.
