About the speaker:
Dr. Lisa Burback has treated suicidal, severely depressed and traumatized patients with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) online and has coached patients through the process of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) psychotherapy virtually.

Topic: Good practices – overseas experiences
This seminar will utilize case studies to explore challenges and overseas experiences with remote delivery of psychotherapy in high-risk populations. This will include lived experience transitioning from an in-person Dialectical Behaviour Therapy program to online programming at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
