The second module builds upon the foundations in information search and literature review established in Module 1, delving into the Libraries’ resources and support available for various aspects of the research cycle. Students will gain understanding on:
Importance of research data management and related university regulations
Brief process of scholarly publishing and definitions of open access-related concepts
Why and how to measure research impact and responsible use of research metrics
Research and academic integrity
Module 2 is essential for postgraduate students who aim to conduct research projects, write dissertations and theses, and effectively communicate the value and impact of their research output within the academic community. Research postgraduate (RPg) students are strongly recommended to attend.
