The session builds upon the information search and literature review skills established in the seminar "Foundations of Information Search and Literacy for Postgraduates", delving into the Libraries’ resources and support available for various aspects of the research cycle.

Students will gain understanding on:

  • Importance of research data management and related university regulations
  • Brief process of scholarly publishing and open access-related concepts
  • Why and how to measure research impact and responsible use of research metrics
  • Research and academic integrity

It is essential for postgraduate students who aim to conduct research projects, write dissertations and theses, and effectively communicate the value and impact of their research output within the academic community. Research postgraduate (RPg) students are strongly recommended to attend.
