Supporting data for "The Great Oxidation Event on Early Mars: Evidence from Remote Sensing and Mars Rover Data"

<div>The dataset is for the PhD thesis "The Great Oxidation Event on Early Mars: Evidence from Remote Sensing and Mars Rover Data" It includes the concentrations of major elements, the concentration of ferrou iron oxide, and the original reflectance spectra (350-2500 nm) of weathered basalt from Hainan island. Spectral indices for Al and Fe(III) have been established and have been applied on Mars to identify weathering sequences on Mars.<br></div>
